Episode 1 A Wise Move

The family move to a new house on the orders of their government, ostensibly to protect them from the media storm expected at the end of their 10 year clinical trial. Theseus is sceptical about the government’s motive. He does not expect that the neighbourhood will be occupied by government agents who will have them under complete surveillance. Perry in particular is angry about the move and blames her younger brother. Beau and Belle’s responsible nature is apparent from the start. The audience at this point has no clear idea of Theseus’ actual job or achievement nor are they told the nature of Jurgan’s condition, though it is obvious from Perry’s comments and his own behaviour that something’s not quite right.

 

Episode 2 You only see

The older kids start a new school: A former military academy which was expanded to incorporate a local village to fairly bad effect. Jurgan goes to a personal tutor who turns out to be unacceptable. Theseus goes to work to find his office moved and half of his staff gone. None of the neighbours in the family’s street are exactly normal. Ronnie Sartoza and Perry meet for the first time and are mutually intrigued.

 

Episode 3 Out of Action

Sartoza and Cole are adjusting to living together. They know each other because Cole used to room with Ronnie’s Mother (recently killed in action) while still cadets. Hope and Jurgan meet for the first time. Theseus and Sky try to call in a favor to get the news about Jelly released and are blocked. We find out that the whole street are representatives from intelligence agencies from all over the world. BB makes some friends but we don’t know what he thinks of this very diverse group of kids. Perry visits her old friend who is doing surprising (and annoyingly) well without her and Grand father Tyrus’ sports record is broken by a rookie rising star.

 

Episode 4 A different class

Sartoza and Cole are called in for a training seminar along with the rest of the street (who still don’t know what’s going on). BB gets detention. Perry is still claiming to be an only child but when she’s caught out she goes ballistic on her younger brother and makes him cry, thus indicating strongly that Jurgan is not the adult he appears to be. Kiera (Mother) Gets an unexpected break at work and then finally persuades Theseus (Father) to call Ian (co-developer of ‘Jelly’). Apparently they had a fight (physically) just before the move. Tyrus gets back into training.

 

Episode 5 A Normal Childhood

It’s Jurgan’s 7th birthday party. Ian and Theseus patch things up. (1st appearance of Ian). Perry won’t be there so Sky (grandmother) takes her shopping where they meet Fiona’s (Perry’s BF from last address.) Mother. Sky realizes Perry is lying about who Jurgan is. Fiona ends up being invited to the party causing a massive argument between them in front of the entire street. Theseus is highly suspicious of Sartoza and confronts him, whereas Ronnie meets Tyrus, a personal hero. BB tries cross-dressing and backs out. The audience will not notice this until they re-watch later and are aware that there is only one ‘twin’.

 

Episode 6 Meet The Ancestors.

For the first time we meet Kiera’s parents: Dorian and Echidna Fork. They are picked up from their retirement home and the family go to the beach. The intelligence agency are forced to chase them around all day because by this time the parents suspect what is happening and are determined to get revenge by triggering every security fear they can think of. Also Kiera takes Jurgan to an aquarium and explains to him why he is different. This is the final piece of the puzzle for the audience. More importantly hints are dropped that Echidna may be more dangerous than any one else in the family.

 

Episode 7 Cry Wolf

Ronnie tries to reassure Perry but doesn’t yet know what about. BB makes a genuine connection with Skittle/Jicks. Perry ends up confiding in the head teacher which goes well. Theseus familiarizes himself with the neighbourhood (in a piss taking fashion – showing his age). Kiera has a kick ass conference call and is once again flavour of the month. Cole meantime is under pressure because of her incompetence on operation beach head and spikes the whole house with an aggressive truth serum.. The whole house is fighting. There are accusations and counter-accusations none of which are accurate. This ends when Theseus knocks his whole family out.

 

Episode 8 Big Brother is watching

M has to go to a meeting out of town to fight off a takeover bid so B+B are left in charge of J at a coach station. ‘Belle’ meets a boy she likes and takes off just as all hell breaks loose. Meantime, P and R hang out at home and Theseus is just acting weird.

Ian quits his job.

During this episode the Wise Family are conducting a counter surveillance exercise against Sartoza and Cole. They are able to get the information they need but the coup de grace comes later in EP 10.

 

Episode 9 Just better to be hanged.

Theseus and Tyrus get arrested separately while attempting to steal back Theseus’ work from his lab. This is bluff. Actually they really want to expose S+C to the local authorities and so they try and trigger every alarm bell they can think of: kidnapping, people trafficking, drug smuggling, civic sabotage and terrorism, none of which they can really be touched for but they are playing a long game.

The Dali Lama (Or at least a religious leader of considerable importance) moves into Rosewood Creek (Dorian + Echidna’s retirement home).

 

Episode 10 A good innings

Dorian is rushed to hospital, Theseus and Ian give him Jelly and bring him back from the edge of death. For the first time regular doctors witness human immortality.

BB lies about his sexuality. Perry goes psycho on her Dad.

What are S + C doing here? Tyrus' gym mates take him for a game in the park which they just lose but the player who Ty was marking turns out to be professional in a reserve team.

 

Episode 11 The Word

Jurgan gets obsessed with the meaning of the word ‘mature’ which he hears on a TV show but nobody seems to be able to tell him what it means. Ronnie takes the wrong kit to a sports tryout but makes the team anyway then meets Perry to their mutual embarrassment because Perry’s also had a clothing disaster because of Jurgan. BB has overspent on clothes because of the cross dressing thing and Kiera’s furious about it because she’s working too hard. Theseus , meantime is trying to improvise a home laboratory. There is fake news all through the episode because every government on the planet is falling over themselves suppressing ‘Forkgate’ but this is never eluded to by the characters for different reasons. Ian finally cracks and tells half of the industry what he thinks of them, burning his bridges. Sartoza feels guilty about his neglect of Ronnie, but he sees it differently and Hope offers Cole a new perspective on their living circumstances.

 

Episode 12 Too little too late??

Perry has the crappiest 12th birthday of all time because of the events of the day before which we see in flashback: Theseus hired a digger and ripped out the front yard to expose Sartoza’s tunnel system, winning a moral victory in the confrontation which ensued. Only Ronnie, Sky and BB remember her birthday but Perry breaks Ronnie’s gift accidentally and neither Sky nor BB are sensitive to Perry’s current insecurities. She then has to spend the whole day hanging around waiting for somebody to rebuild her bedroom wall. BB try to get their money back by playing the stock market and ask Dorian for help but it becomes apparent he knows nothing about investment so how did he really make his money?

 

Episode 13 Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen

Kiera is about to hit the age of disconsent so She and Theseus take a second honeymoon which goes wonderfully, this creates an elephant in the room which remains until the 5th series. This, contrasted with Ian’s trip to a professional tribunal which is a nightmare, start to finish. This is the 1st episode we see both sets of grandparents together because they split babysitting duties and the dynamic is surprising. Tyrus meanwhile is teaching as community service for the episode 10 stunt using notes provided by Ian, he’s an instant hit. The break gives Sartoza and Cole the chance to let their guard down and there is a moment between them (there couldn’t be – could there?!?). Jurgan is having a problem of his own (??)

 

Episode 14 Controlled Explosion

Sartoza and Cole have to deal with insinuations about their relationship, pretty childish yet they still take their eye off the ball. Ronnie and BB get into an argument. For some time the inadequacy of their school has been something the whole gang have been addressing together but BB needs to stay out of trouble and Ronnie needs to make a point. Jurgan bunks off school and ends up on the military base disguised as a general. Meanwhile Theseus and Ian are trying to get a meeting on the very same base and are eventually approved by Jurgan himself. Throughout this Cole and Kiera are fighting a hacking and distraction multi-arena war but it’s now that Cole’s enemies make their move.

 

Episode 15 Big Boy Pants

At breakfast, Perry knocks out Jurgan’s tooth. He doesn’t tell his Mum but she notices when Jurgan asks for his own shaving kit later, meanwhile Perry has ripped into BB as a pre-emptive to avoid them telling on her, she is about to apologize when a truck smashes into the front garden. At school there is general breakdown of moral among the staff as the kids run riot. A major character is introduced here currently known as Woods 4. Cole drops Hope off with Kiera for a play date. This is a complete reversal of tactics. B+B dare each other to ask somebody out and both bottle it

Sartoza has a crisis of conscience and makes some concessions to Theseus.

 

Episode 16 The fairway

BB has a new teacher, Woods 3. Sartoza gets his leg broken by Woods 2. Ronnie makes friends with Woods 4. Theseus goes to a PTA meeting. Echidna goes to a meeting at Rosewood Creek. Jurgan and Dorian go shoplifting. Tyrus is mistakenly identified as Theseus and doesn’t correct it. Cole has to allow intervention at the local school. Half of the faculty are fired including Perry’s lifeline, the head teacher. We see Woods 1,3+4 together for the first time. S+C accidentally let their mission brief slip to Ronnie who manages to witness a meeting under house number 14.

 

Episode 17 Tap Tap

The family (kids) become aware they are under surveillance. B, especially takes it hard.

 

Episode 18 The last time I cried

Cole is defending her conduct but as this is happening Hope and Jurgan become blood siblings. Kiera is hooked on a comedy show and B/B has a crying fit over a TV program. D+E have a discussion about dead friends and speculate over how much conventional wisdom about life remains true.

Theseus ‘isn't at home’.

The 2nd UN Charter of Human Rights is announced.

 

Episode 19 Downsizing

Ian moves to a new apartment

Kiera cannot stand to give away her clothes.

Perry and Ronnie take up climbing and decide they’ll never hook up.

B knuckles down to work, learns never to fuck with little sister, unless he wants a zoology recitation. Finishes his day off with a joint then works all night

When he catches up back at home, she's calmed down and suggests that he should see other girls but he realises dischronologious relations cannot work

Jurgan has a stroke

CD and CDEX sort out some old issues (Ian and Crys Didn't consider all eventualities after all. There's a transparency issue and this is still the 21st century.) She's got work to do and he’s sitting on a pile of money he won't touch.

Perry beats Ronnie Sartoza in a fight for the first time ever. She’s fighting with a comb against his knife, but because she’s only going for his hair, he can’t touch her. (she loses a lot of hair though.)

When Theseus "rapes" his wife B tries to kill him. CD saves him. Dad Sartoza is busy explaining to Ronnie that he is there to kill the whole family once the order comes through.

(At this point in the show the cast have just had to deal with a sixteen and 13 relationship, at this very moment they learn about the intensity of the relationship between Theseus 16 and CD 58. Just WTF – they've watched each other retreating over 15 years each from 34 and 40 in a relationship which began when they were 27 and 33.)

Ian OD’s then repeatedly chokes on his own vomit and Aaron + T have to break in and roll him over.

Episode 48 The carded and the retarded

Theseus can't score heroin. (Has to because Aaron can’t leave Ian). B (UK) can't find his ID uses his fake which buggers up because T quotes his real age. (US) Uses fake ID with permission but then T won't let him buy what he wants.

Ty throws somebody through a commentary box? Gets away with it.

Episode 49 3 Strikes

B gets caught dealing drugs 3 times. The first because he was contemplating immortality, the second because he was buying pills to cover himself and the third because he was smuggling the jellies back to the lab. One of CD's friends is at the dealer’s house. Neither indicate they know the other.

During this episode the audience doesn't really know if B is carrying Heroin or Jellies. Later, B's story is inconsistent. He says at one point that he only pretended he had Heroin to protect someone. It's assumed he means he was protecting his Dad and he was thinking of taking Jelly because he broke up with his Girlfriend but this is not what he means. Actually he was protecting B2 his imaginary sister who he thinks has taken jellies but actually it's him who has started taking hormones.

Police “He’s supposed to be smart, do you think he can he work out how much trouble he’s in/”

(Later) B "Everyone is a heroin addict. Sooner or later you're increasingly likely to try it. Once you do, you're an addict for the rest of time. If we marginalise addicts it's only a matter of time before they're the majority and they make it obligatory. It's gonna be their declared 1st goal, obviously, so why not accept it?"

T "Why don't you wait 'til there’s a few more of us here before you start writing all of our Philosophy?"

Tyrus makes the first team.

Scene 2 Wise house, morning – B is all over encyclopedias looking for history of tech styles (clothes). Theseus is ploughing through the best sellers, one being ‘Chasing our tail’ by an old friend.

Scene 3 Lifer rap, Screws rap, Warden rap, suicide rap President (C1 Leader) + aid talk about YBM Scene 4 Dorian tees off as retired pro passes 1st tee on route to clubhouse

Scene 5 Young mother in a supermarket in TOWN perplexes about store cards, credit card offers and why the prices have gone down 10 times in two months and how she can possibly carry enough to catch up to her credit score. Walks, leaving her baby and the shopping to the mall balcony and throws two armfuls of nappies off it to cheers of various guessed emotions

Scene 6 It’s a tragedy sketch. (Perry + Friend watch at Friend’s. Friend’s parents have recovered from the shock – now!)

Scene 7 Quarky opens an email invitation to Aaron’s club – the city of light. Aaron checks guest lists but he just wants a holiday. [CHARS – COL Ba rstaff]

Scene 8 Ian dresses up but still looks like shit. Nobody mentions it.

Scene 9 UN Troops arrest

Scene 10 Sky arrives at Ty’s training ground with house deeds and meets a doctor employed by another player who’s meeting the team doctor on his behalf.

Scene 11 Cole arrives at Echidna’s and they talk about Cole’s trip to Reykjavik/Nanjing/Casablanca/Kazan. She’s brought gifts. They immediately plan a trip together to Philadelphia/Aberdeen/Kyoto/Durban.

 

Scene 12 Hope leaves as Cole is picked up from E’s

Jurgan wakes up 12. Hope spends the whole episode hiding in his wardrobe because she knows he is afraid of seeing her and jumps out on the closing frame.

Dorian forgets his glasses. Manages to cover himself to Echidna, she still doesn't know he's younging.

Episode 62 Tremors and Tribulation

The Earth shifts on it's axis. South Pole and Australia is conjoined by an ice shelf, the water levels drop creating a new southern Pacific continent. Canada is new North Pole and completely glaciated. North Pacific is a marsh.

As a new crisis is born, new weapons are made. S should have expected this but being immortal has allowed him to forget he is alive. He quickly remembers his training and does what has to be done. S is now the first crippled Homo Immortalis.

 

Episode 63 Keep your hair on. / Can of worms.

Horntail Plague begins. Named after the South American Peninsula. The plague is fake and everybody thinks it is a cover story used to steal the new continent. In fact, the new continent is an experiment in settling new planets and an opportunity to arrest the world’s biggest thieves. What is really happening is a mass entrapment.

B goes to a career seminar. Makes his mind up he wants to be a career adviser.

From episode 75 (shown in the episode 65 slot) the story is all about a squid war hit by a shark attack. The rules go super-mythic. Simply, without dogmatic frameworks, aggression is carried out with a never before witnessed freedom and the very few players left play without mortal human barriers:

Aura specs are on the market.

Everybody on the planet, identically has a single, unique total perspective on the world.

Aaron Just sees the whole world with golden flecked eyes. As his perspective deepens he learns to trigger these flecks until he finally finds somebody who is solid gold.

Beau sees auras whose range and intensity varies according to stress and clarity of thought. Eventually his perspective settles into colour pulses and intermittent flashes of tails linking everybody in the world.

Theseus sees surfaces and depths; the human hues on top, thinly covering and struggling against the super zoo beneath fighting for control.

Kiera sees a single vision of human knowledge painted in gold, operating all other colours and begins to try to see how to effect the perfect knowledge delivery system through the collective.

Perry sees colours as a warfare strategy model, gold is the colour of perfect confidence but as she seeks the gold, observer effect makes it retreat before her and she's sees people in terms of their irremovable strength – as she always has!

Jurgan sees mental age, golden being youthfulness, he gains an understanding of what ageing really means but finds the model he needs, the measure of eternal agelessness.

Belle sees all words as magic, she experiments with trying to make things all blue, all red, all green but when she lets loose on a killer rap, she turns everybody all gold.

At stressful points for the remainder characters get the briefest of flashbacks from their and other people's gold views. It shouldn't be 100% clear why.

B meets her fantasy therapist in therapy, but he's in therapy himself and he's a total shithead. We find out what he really said
